About

Hi, I'm Marc! I'm a front-end developer at Lullabot and also serve as a co-maintainer for Drupal 8's core Picture and Breakpoint modules.

Previously as web technologies coordinator for the city of Minnetonka, I provided web and graphic design services for the city, including several redesigns of the city’s internet and intranet sites. I also served as President of the National Association of Government Web Professionals.

As a web designer and developer, I have a passion for responsive design, web standards, accessibility, usability, and information architecture. My toolbox includes hand crafting HTML5 and CSS3, Sassy goodness and all things Drupal.

While I’ve been using Drupal since 2008, in 2013 I started contributing regularly to Drupal 8, particularly with front-end development and theming improvements, such as Twig and responsive images. I’m also working on an upcoming book, Drupal 8 Responsive Web Design, which is being published with Packt.

I’m also baffled that my daughter is three years old. This does not seem possible.

My wife and I live in Woodbury, MN, and we enjoy traveling, especially to Disney World. Our dog and cat are not as pleased with our travels, but are easily persuaded to forgive us when provided with food and the precise quantity of desired belly rubs.
